Pepper is one and its beneficial properties
Traditionally, it is believed that the color of the bell pepper - green, yellow or red - depends on its degree of maturity. However, in reality this is not the case, and fruits of different colors are representatives of different varieties. Let's consider the most useful of them - one pepper.
The color of this vegetable is due to the fact that it contains the greatest amount of yellow-red and red pigments - carotene and lycopene, respectively. The main advantage is that it bears fruit stably and abundantly, even under rather unfavorable growing conditions and lack of proper care. Sowing seeds for seedlings can be started already at the end of February, and the seedlings dive after the appearance of a couple of the first true leaves. In mid-May, planting material can be transferred under a film. Pepper does not require any special care: you just need to water it twice a week under the root, and also to loosen it. It is advisable to remove the fruits early, as soon as they ripen, so that they do not retard the growth of the rest of the fruits.
As for the beneficial properties of red pepper, it is recognized as the leader among other types of this vegetable in terms of vitamin A. Therefore, pediatricians emphasize its special benefits for growing children's organisms, and ophthalmologists insist that pepper should be consumed by everyone who has vision problems. Pepper alone contains a huge dose of vitamin C, as well as no less amount of lycopene, therefore it is a fairly strong antioxidant that significantly reduces the risk of cancer.
