Touch-me-not flower
The touch-me-not flower, better known as Balsam, rightfully bears its proud title. One has only to touch the seed pod, and all the ripe seeds will scatter in different directions. It is also popularly called "light". There is a beautiful legend about this.
A long time ago, when no one remembers exactly, there was a terrible bloody war. The girl was waiting for her lover, who promised to return. He only asked to light a candle and put it near the window so that she would call the tired warrior. The guy died in battle, but the girl still continued to wait for him and the candle burned constantly. But nothing lasts forever and the girl died. And the candle that stood on the windowsill turned into a red flower - balsam.
In the language of flowers, balsam represents unbearable longing.
The touch-me-not flower is versatile - it is ideal both for growing in an apartment and in a flower garden. It is unpretentious and does not require constant attention. It can withstand short-term drought, after watering it quickly returns to its normal state. But the touch-me-not flower does not tolerate excessive moisture. If you fill it with water, then the root system can rot.
They love balsams warm, but not heat. Soft diffused light suits them. On hot summer days, it is better to remove them from the window and cover them with a curtain. In a flower garden, it can be planted under the shade of trees.
In winter, you need a bright and warm room. Avoid hypothermia. If this did happen, then on the leaves you will see small black dots - dysbiosis. In this case, use the drug "Alirin", pour it over the earth in a flower, but no more than three times.
I just bought myself the seeds of Terry Balsam for the first time to put on the balcony in the summer. I read with pleasure that it turns out that you can grow it at home. And there are no particular difficulties. So the flower will grow in my apartment then.
