How to grow decorative peppers
This bright plant has quite edible fruits. It is believed that, subject to a small set of rules, it is easy to grow it. How is decorative pepper grown?
- He needs a bright light, but he must remain diffused;
- When the spring-autumn period comes, you need shading, otherwise there is a risk of getting burns;
- In the summertime, you can arrange it outdoors;
- In autumn and winter, there is a need for intense lighting, additional lighting, otherwise the plant will not die, but it will stretch out and risk losing its decorative appearance;
- For growing, a moderate air temperature is suitable, not lower than 20 degrees, this is what is considered optimal;
- The transplanting time is well attributed to the spring, it is carried out annually, while the old layer of soil is removed, a new one is added;
- For pepper, it is better to create a special substrate, namely 1 part of leafy and soddy lands, peat, as well as sand, 1/4 part;
- At the bottom of the pot, you need to arrange good drainage;
- Often the plant is completely transplanted;
- The root system must be protected, this must be taken into account when transplanting.
These are the basic rules. Pepper propagates by cuttings, but the seeds germinate remarkably. Do not forget to pre-soak them in potassium permanganate, a weak solution and one hour is enough. They are also soaked in an epin-based solution. Then the decorative pepper is transplanted into the ground with a good humus content.
