Traditional medicine advises the use of decoctions and infusions of the geneva tenacious for the following diseases:
- with bronchitis and other diseases of the lungs and upper respiratory tract;
- with intestinal upset (diarrhea);
- with a stomach ulcer;
- with diseases of the liver and gallbladder;
- with diseases of the genital area in women;
- with rheumatic pains.

It is prepared from two teaspoons of raw materials, poured with one glass of boiling water, and consumed 3-4 times a day, one tablespoon at a time.
Zhyvuchka Geneva is also used in the form of lotions and washings for burns, ulcers and wounds. For this, an infusion of five tablespoons of dried herbs is prepared for one liter of boiling water.
