Balcony cucumbers

More recently, gardeners have grown only cucumbers in greenhouses and cucumbers in the open field. Now there are balcony cucumbers - these are pickle-gherkin beam hybrids of a new cultivar type. They were created by crossing hybrids from Russia with cucumbers from China, Vietnam, India.

Balcony cucumbers are characterized by a compact bush, small leaves, short internodes, long stalks. In the early period of fruiting, the greens are poured quickly, and during the period of fruiting, their slow growth is observed. The long stem of balcony cucumbers is effectively used when the balcony volume is limited. A large number of ovaries are laid in the nodes of the balcony cucumbers, which outwardly look like grape bunches. Most often there are cylindrical greens, elongated and thin. The ovaries do not dry out, the greens do not outgrow. The crop can be harvested for a long time. Even with irregular harvests, the yield will be high.

A sign of the maturity of zelents is the "resorption" of the tubercles on their surface. Balcony cucumbers are better suited for the conditions of a loggia, balcony, veranda. Balcony cucumbers are great for processing, they produce an excellent harvest of quality pickles.

Balcony cucumbers can also be cultivated in spring greenhouses, in open soil. These cucumbers can grow as ampelous plants in hanging pots and baskets, as they are characterized by strong branching.
