However, this is not quite true. Pepper in most cases grows well in the open field, but for this it must be grown from seedlings, and the seedlings must be strong and strong enough. This is why it is so important to properly grow pepper seedlings.

Sowing pepper for seedlings should be started in late February or early March. It is best grown indoors with good lighting. Ideally - with windows facing the sunny side. If this is not possible, then you need to use additional lighting and heating the seedlings using 40 or 80 W lamps.

Sowing pepper for seedlings is best done in a soil mixture specially prepared and heated to 40-45 degrees, consisting of humus, a small amount of wood ash and sand.

Most often, sowing peppers for seedlings and their subsequent cultivation is carried out in special boxes, although other options are possible, such as, for example, pots, tetrapaks or even plastic cups.

Pepper sprouts need to be fed and watered about once a week. It should be remembered that excessive watering and stagnant water can destroy future seedlings of pepper. In addition, care must be taken to ensure that the water used for irrigation is warm enough. The optimum temperature is considered to be from 25 to 28 degrees.
