White chamomile

What could be more familiar than chamomile. Everyone knows this flower from childhood and loves to pull its petals, wondering if this or that business will come true. But in fact, white chamomile is not just a way to tell fortunes, but also a very beautiful decorative flower. There is also a variety of white chamomile that is used for medicinal purposes.

It's safe to say that chamomile is a wildflower. The length of the stem reaches her about 30-60 centimeters.

If you decide to grow chamomile at home, then you need to know that the flower is sun-loving, although it tolerates partial shade. Also, do not forget about watering in the hot season, since white chamomile loves moisture very much.

Reproduction of this flower occurs by seeds. It is best to sow them in the spring, although it is possible in late autumn.

As for the varieties of chamomile, there are three varieties. The first can be called meadow chamomile (Leucanthemum vulgare), which is precisely the decoration of the flower garden. This species is about 60 centimeters high and grows up to 30 centimeters in width. The flowers of this species are quite large.

The second species can be called Roman or noble chamomile (Roman chamomile). It is not so high (30 centimeters) and is more often used to fill garden plots. The flowers of this variety are too small, which forms a white carpet in the garden.

And lastly - German chamomile. This white flower reaches a length of 50 cm. The flower is of medium size, but has one peculiarity. This type is very fragrant, therefore, it is planted by those who love not just beauty, but also aroma.
