Growing gatsania is not difficult
Gatsania, or gazania, is a light-loving, drought-resistant and cold-resistant plant. It easily survives frosts up to 3 degrees. In fact, gatsania is a perennial, but the plant cannot withstand wintering in the middle lane, it is grown as an annual crop. It is rational to cultivate gatsania in the southern regions directly by planting seeds in the ground, in the northern regions and the middle lane it is advisable to grow a flower from seedlings.
Seeds are sown from the second half of March to early April in a container with moistened soil, cover them with glass or plastic wrap. The optimum temperature for obtaining friendly plant shoots is 22-23 degrees. Seedlings will appear in a week and a half or two, and after another week, very tiny plants should be dived into peat cups. During a pick, it is advisable to pinch the tip of the root, this will improve the development of the root system of the flower.
Annual plants, as a rule, are very beautiful and bright, but they are too picky to care for, I do not really like it, since it takes a lot of time to take care of them.
