The types of begonias in the photo can be divided into two large groups: decorative flowering and decorative deciduous. Representatives of the second group, contrary to popular belief, also bloom, but their bloom is not particularly spectacular. As for decorative flowering plants, they attract attention and are appreciated by flower growers for spectacular double and non-double flowers, the color of which can be very diverse. So, the types of begonias in the photo are typical representatives of this group.

One of the most common types is ampelous begonia, which has long and thin shoots that droop very quickly. The color of its leaves can vary from dark to light green, and the color of the flowers - from yellowish orange to deep maroon. Due to its very abundant and at the same time long flowering, it is considered one of the most decorative species. Another decorative and flowering species that is very popular with flower growers is white-spotted begonia. It has burgundy leaves covered with oval-shaped silvery spots and beautiful pale pink, fairly large flowers.

But the royal begonia belongs to the group of decorative deciduous species. It is kept for the sake of beautiful unequal leaves located on a creeping stem, and they try to avoid flowering at all due to the fact that its flowers do not represent any decorative value. Mason's begonia also has very spectacular leaves: in this species, they are painted in a light green hue, and in their middle a red spot stands out brightly, spreading along the long veins.
