Laura grape variety

The grape season is usually considered to be the end of August - the beginning of September. It is at this time, as a rule, that most of the bushes of this wonderful berry ripen and the markets are filled with a wide variety of grapes. Of course, many people want to enjoy this tasty and healthy berry much earlier, so grape varieties with early ripening are especially appreciated. One of the most popular early varieties is the Laura grape, which is an excellent representative of white table grapes.

This variety was bred in Ukraine at the V.E. Tairov Institute in Odessa. The Laura grape variety was obtained by crossing varieties such as Hamburg Muscat and Muscat de Saint-Valier, Husayne and Queen Tairovskaya. The Laura grape variety is also known under the name Flora, under which it was registered in the State Register of Grape Varieties of Ukraine, although the name Laura is better known among the people.

Laura is a very early ripening grape. As a rule, bushes of this species give ripe fruits within 110-115 days after the first shoots appeared on them.

The Laura grape variety has a good yield, and the fruitfulness of the shoots of this variety, under favorable conditions, is about 80%. Moreover, the berries of this variety are very large and, as a rule, are about 3 cm in length, and bunches of Laura grapes can weigh up to 2 kg.

Thus, the Laura grape variety has gained a huge number of admirers not only due to its early ripening, but also due to its high yield, as well as excellent taste.

Delicious variety. The grapes are juicy, the skin is a bit thick, but the yield is excellent!
