Probably, it is not worth talking about how much pears are loved by many, because this fruit has excellent taste and useful properties. Then photos of pear varieties come to the rescue, thanks to which you can get an idea of the future harvest.
What kinds of pears are there?
All pear varieties are divided into three groups:
- early - these varieties are grown only in the Black Earth Region, they ripen in August;
- autumn - you can enjoy the taste of these varieties of pears from mid-September;
- winter - the fruits of these varieties are harvested even before they are ripe, but keeping them until spring, they get a great taste of these fruits.
Early varieties of pears are very popular, because they have a good taste, strong aroma and useful properties.
The most famous early varieties of pears
- Thin branch - fruits of regular shape, medium size, yellowish-green in color, with a long thick peduncle; taste - sweet and sour, tart.
- Summer Williams - large, lumpy fruits with a thin lemon-yellow skin; the pulp is tender, juicy, melting, with a bright nutmeg aroma.
- Bere Giffard - fruits of medium size, with a skin with clear spots, a thick peduncle; the pulp has a high taste - juicy, soft, tender, with a rich aroma.

A pear tree once grew in our garden. I don't know what sort it was, only ripe pears were not good for anything except compote. Although in fairness it should be noted that the compote from them was excellent.
