Stock rose perennial

There is a perennial rose stock, and there are also one-year and two-year-olds, it pleases with beautiful flowers, the shade of which can be from pure white, yellow, light pink to maroon. Some Mallows, as they are also called, can reach three meters in height.

The perennial stem creates a leaf rosette in the first year and begins to bloom in the second year. The stem is large, strong, the leaves are large below, gradually decreasing towards the top. Malva blooms from June to autumn with large beautiful flowers, often with five petals, but there are also terry varieties.

The stem of the rose cannot be cut in the fall, the remaining stems trap the snow, which helps to save the bush from freezing, it is better to cut them in the spring to a height of three centimeters.

Mallow loves the sun, but feels great in partial shade, is undemanding to moisture, but in severe drought it is better to water it. To prevent the disease with rust, which the plant is susceptible to, the stem of the rose must be treated with a solution of colloidal sulfur made according to the instructions or a Bordeaux mixture.

The stem of a rose can be propagated by seeds, which retain their similarity for up to five years, and old bushes can also be propagated by division. For propagation by seeds, the seeds must be sown on the beds in May, and after the appearance of two leaves, around July, transplanted to a permanent place, the sockets should be covered for the winter.

The plant looks great in group plantings, in various color compositions, is great for decorating buildings, walls, fences and various unaesthetic structures. It should be borne in mind that, as a single decorative element, the stem of a rose can look rude, especially if the lower leaves are withered, so it is better to plant the stem near the fence, and in front of it are annuals in height to hide the unsightly bottom of the mallow.
