Growing hawthorn is easy. It is best to propagate this ornamental shrub by dividing the bush, layering. Cutting does not give positive results. Hawthorn can also be grown from seeds. To do this, carefully remove the core with the seeds from the ripe fruits, pour it with water and rub it just as gently, trying to separate the pulp from the seeds. Then the seeds need to be dried on a paper towel and stratified. To do this, they are sown in pre-prepared soil, then left in a cold and dark place until spring. The sprouts obtained from seeds, for the first two years, are best grown at home, creating conditions for them similar to natural ones - with periods of active growth and dormancy.
