One of the easiest ways to propagate this plant is by offspring. With proper care, they readily appear on mother plants. The offspring are separated from the main plant, planted in an earthen mixture. Roots appear on these shoots after about a couple of months when kept at a temperature of at least 20 degrees and high humidity.

Reproduction of yucca in pictures by cutting off the top of the trunk and cutting part of the trunk into cuttings can be seen in the illustrations for the article. To propagate yucca in this way, you need to make sure that the plant is quite strong and strong, its height should be at least 30 cm.

The top of the yucca on a handle about 10-15 cm long must be cut off with a well-sharpened knife in the spring or early summer (during the period of active growth). Do not tear off the leaves from the crown, on the contrary, leave them on the cutting to the maximum. Then the top of the yucca is rooted, as well as the remaining stem of the plant cut into cuttings. Such cuttings are quite actively overgrown with foliage from awakened buds, and lateral shoots appear on them.
