Cherries: care for the benefit
Even if someone has not read it, he probably heard such a phrase as "The Cherry Orchard". We will not talk about the talented work of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, about the many theatrical performances based on this play. Let's just talk about the cherry orchard. Few can boast of such wealth, but perhaps every garden plot can be proud of a couple of cherry trees. Fruit cherry: care for it, cultivation are in constant demand among gardeners.
Today cherries are grown almost everywhere, although initially, according to scientists, cherries grew only on the Black Sea coast. Now it is one of the most common fruit crops, the berries of which are very popular all over the world for their amazing taste and aroma.
The cherry fruit tree is undemanding to care for. Yes, some peculiarities can arise when growing different varieties of cherries. But basically, caring for this tree or shrub comes down to periodic feeding, loosening the earth, as well as protecting the plant from pests and diseases by using various methods - from pruning sick and old branches and whitewashing the trunk to using modern chemicals or folk remedies with pests.
It is necessary to feed cherry trees two or three times a year: in the fall, before wintering, and in the spring: the first time, when the snow has melted, and the buds begin to gain strength, and then, during the flowering period, before the fruit ovary.
During periods of drought, cherries need to be watered, this is how they will give a rich harvest even in dry summers. and with a lack of moisture, the cherry will be smaller and less juicy.
Good luck!
Cherry trees do not require special care; if possible, I feed them with a mullein. If frosts occur during flowering, I try to save the crop with smoke, but it does not always float.
