• The material is not subject to deformation due to moisture, which makes it possible to use larch in the arrangement of saunas and baths. Moreover, larch is the only wood that does not lose its qualities in water, but, on the contrary, becomes even stronger.

Types of lumber

Larch wood profiles are produced with a standard thickness of 13-14 mm, although boards with dimensions up to 20 mm can be made on individual orders. The width of the products can vary from 85 to 140 mm.

Euro larch lining differs from ordinary lining by the high quality of the wood used, it has a deeper tongue-and-groove connection and internal selections. For this reason, the service life, which is already considerable, increases significantly (up to 100 years).

Panels "Calm" differ in their grade: this material is "Prima", "Extra", "AB". The grade depends on the number of such defects present on the panels as cracks, roughness, irregularities, knots, and resinous sulfur. Based on the percentage, the class of the product is determined, and therefore its cost. Let's take a closer look at each of the varieties.

• The material of the "Extra" class is an impeccable product of the highest quality, free from defects.Accordingly, it has the highest cost.
• Class "A" - with the general high quality, the presence of knots is allowed (one per one and a half meters of the board), however, it is difficult to call this a product defect, since such inclusions even adorn the panels.
• Category "B" assumes the presence of four knots and one spot that differs in color - such a board looks beautiful, but not for a classic interior.
• Class "C", in fact, is a marriage, as it has many flaws, therefore it is not in demand and is considered as an option only for premises such as a basement or utility block.
