Flush everything down the toilet
Many manufacturers assure us that their products are highly water soluble. Whether this is so - I do not want to check on my own experience. Therefore, it is better not to risk it. Throw only toilet paper down the toilet, but leave wet wipes, pads, and diapers in the bin. It is better to take out the trash once a day than to clean up the consequences of the blockage for several days.
Clogging up the sink
Not all owners use a special waste filter mesh on the sink. But in vain. Food waste can cause blockages.
Remember that the sink is designed to drain water, not to pass solid objects, especially if the water pressure is low. Periodically flush the pipes with special agents to remove grease and other deposits on their walls.
Let the stains dry and eat in
Many of us are too lazy to remove a stain as soon as something spills or drips. But in vain. Statistically, 90% of stains are completely removed in the first few minutes. Further, this figure is almost halved. Therefore, no matter how much you want to do this immediately, remove stains from surfaces as they appear. This is especially true of dyes and bird droppings, which can corrode even the iron surfaces of country furniture.
Slam the door
An ever-slamming door, not only is an indisputable irritant, but also leads to a quick breakdown of the lock and loosening of the handle. An abruptly slammed door in some designs can lead to arbitrary locking of the lock. The best thing is to install hinges with door closers, they are sold in hardware stores. But you can find a cheaper way - to stick a special tape around the perimeter, which will slow down the abruptly closing door a little.
Forgetting Filters: Part One
Air filters are present in the ventilation and exhaust system. The dust deposited on them interferes with normal air circulation, and also pollutes the air inside the house. In addition, clogged ventilation openings can cause a domestic fire.
Forgetting Filters: Part Two
Different houses use different water filtration systems: from powerful expensive ones to simple budget ones. Regardless of this, do not forget to regularly change the protective filters, otherwise not only untreated water will get into your glass, but also with impurities of the decay products of the filter that has become unusable.
Do not use a door mat
Many housewives do not like the fact that the door rugs are constantly shrinking and look untidy. But it is on them that a significant part of the sand and mud remains, which can harbor many pathogenic organisms. In 2016, European scientists discovered 421,000 different bacteria, including faecal, in street dirt. In addition, the rug limits a certain area for changing shoes, especially for newly arrived guests, and keeps sand and dirt from spreading over a larger area of the hallway.
Ignore the gutters
Many homeowners completely forget that their home has roof drainage gutters until problems arise. Do not forget to regularly clean them to the accumulated fallen leaves and other debris that has got inside, otherwise the water will not drain well, and the walls of the house will become damp.
Forget about sensors
On the site and in the house, various sensors may be present: rain, movement, smoke. The latter is extremely important, because it bears part of the responsibility for your life. Remember to regularly check the sensors for serviceability and change the batteries in them as needed.
Launch the garden
An old grandmother's apple tree or a beautiful birch tree under the window is, of course, important and beautiful. But don't forget about your safety. An old tree with dead branches can cause a fire in a thunderstorm, fall on electrical wires, on a house or even owners. And a tree planted close to the house can damage the foundation, and the house itself in the event of a fall.
The most important, I'm not afraid of this word, "author", forgot the habits, do not wipe your ass or blow your nose in the curtains, or bang the "author" ... on the forehead.
Water filters, of course, filter water from rubbish, but the culture of water from a filter, even replaced a week ago, looks much more interesting
