The widest range of sizes is available for worm gear clamps. They can be of almost any diameter. Spring products can have a diameter value from 13 to 80 mm. For power clamps, it can even reach 500 mm.

The worm clamp tape can be of the following types:
- without through holes: with projections in different directions - outward and inward. The strength of these elements is higher compared to clamps that have holes;
- with bulges without holes located on the outside: the surface of these belts is smooth on the inside. This type of worm clamp is characterized by maximum strength. During operation, the fixed hose is not damaged;
- with through holes: these belts are made of rubber, due to which the strength is not high enough. Such elements are not recommended for equipping hoses with an important purpose. The fact is that the rubber is gradually pressed into the grooves, and is also damaged in the event of a narrowing of the clamp.
Clamp worm Norma Torro is designed for use in pipelines, various highways, as well as in oil pipelines, ventilation lines, high and low pressure air ducts. The designs from the German manufacturer can be recognized by their characteristic feature - an asymmetric patented design. This prevents the bolt from deflecting in the direction of the torque.
