Beautiful spring crested crested flower
The long-awaited spring has come. Naturally, primroses are in a hurry to please all connoisseurs of natural beauty. The crested flower makes a significant contribution to the spring bouquet. It so happened that this type of plant is currently known to a small number of people. However, there are more than 300 types of these wonderful flowers.
The genus Corydalis is a corydalis flower, belongs to the Fumariaceae family - smoky flowers. The latter unites rhizome and tuberous plants, which are distributed mainly in Asia, temperate regions of Europe or North America.
This flower got such a funny name due to the interesting shape of the flowers themselves. Their diameter is no more than two cm. The outer and inner petals have different colors, and also form a distinct peephole, which attracts the attention of insects very much. Adult plants have a peduncle with up to 30 flowers, forming a rather lush inflorescence. The latter can be decorative for up to 8 days. And from the stem of this flower there are about three green leaves, which have an openwork shape of a bluish or bluish tint. Rhizome Corydalis blooms in late May - early summer, and tuberous - in April.
Corydalis develop very quickly. This is mainly due to the presence of vegetative organs, which are laid immediately after flowering. At the top of the tuber, a large bud is formed by autumn, which reaches the soil surface by March. An underdeveloped dense scaly leaf protects the bud from frost. In just a couple of days, it can reach a height of 15-20 cm, and then the plant blooms.
