Thin-leaved peony is listed in the Red Book
Love for a large number of flowers in the garden is passed down from generation to generation through the female line. We have collected a huge collection of all kinds of flowers in such a way that flowering begins at the height of spring and ends only in late autumn. Of all the variegated flower mass, the thin-leaved peony still stands out - a very fragrant decorative flower listed in the Red Book of Russia.
It beckons not only with a delicate scent, but also with a wonderful combination of passion in the form of bright red petals and innocence in the form of yellow anthers. This rare species of peonies is also used in the design of bouquets and compositions, which makes the flower popular and revered.
The thin-leaved peony begins to bloom in early to mid-May, the bush is evenly covered with buds, which simultaneously open, presenting a colorful picture of a red meadow. Unfortunately, the color of the peony is short-lived, especially in the sultry heat. Frequent, thorough watering is required to increase flowering time.
Knowing the love of the thin-leaved peony for bright places, we planted it on suitable soil on the south side of the house, where it has taken root wonderfully and grows happily. It is enough to do top dressing once before planting with fertilizers with a sufficient amount of phosphorus and potassium, which have a beneficial effect on the growth and longevity of the thin-leaved peony.
The flower propagates by seeds (it is better to collect unripe seeds) and by dividing the bush (this method is preferably carried out at the end of August-September). The thin-leaved peony is quite resistant to various diseases, and is also winter-hardy.
