A field of daisies is a doable task
The field of daisies on your site will bring you joy with its unassuming beauty, harmony and undemanding care.
Chamomile does not like too waterlogged soil, it should be loose and moderately moist, the plant is frost-resistant and good germination in spring. You need to water the plant in too dry weather.
Chamomiles are best planted in a sunny location, but they can thrive in partial shade. Chamomile is a perennial plant, its stem can be from thirty centimeters to a meter, and flower baskets of some types of chamomile can reach ten centimeters in diameter. Chamomile usually blooms twice: from June to July and from August to September.
It is better to start planting chamomile in April; seeds need to be sown in the prepared grooves, shallowly. If you grow chamomile by sowing seeds, then you will receive a field of chamomiles only after a year. Chamomile can also be propagated by dividing the bush, then with its flowers it will delight you earlier.
In order for chamomiles to bloom and delight the eye, you need to cut them regularly, weed weeds and sometimes loosen the soil and feed them. In autumn, garden chamomile is cut almost to the ground and sprinkled with mulch to save it from weeds, and not from frost. Chamomile is actively growing, so you need to monitor the roots, if they appear above the ground, then they should be sprinkled with earth.
A giant chamomile needs to be planted every three years, if this condition is not met, the chamomile bushes thicken too much, the flowers become smaller, and the stems stretch and become thinner, the middle of the chamomile bush becomes bare, which is why the chamomile loses its decorative effect.
I really love chamomile and so want to have such a white field in our garden))) But the question is, how to keep chamomile in winter frosts so that it does not freeze?
