Pelargonium grown from seeds has a very attractive appearance, the plants are compact, bloom very abundantly. Moreover, the seeds, which are relatively expensive, have excellent germination capacity.
Pelargonium has large, densely coated seeds, from the moment of sowing to the beginning of flowering it takes no more than six months. sowing seeds can be done throughout the year, in winter, however, additional lighting will have to be applied. Experienced gardeners prefer to sow pelargonium in late February - early March, in which case the plants emerge with a sufficiently long daylight hours.
