Growing petunias from seeds
Petunias very often serve as unusual decoration in pots or pots on verandas, balconies or porches of many houses. And this is not surprising, because her flowers are so diverse in color proposals that every time you look at petunias, you are amazed at their beauty with great surprise.
The maintenance of petunias is quite simple, but growing petunias from seeds is quite a difficult task. These flowers do not always give the expected shoots, and young plants in the process of growth can die if the conditions of their maintenance are violated.
It would seem that it can be difficult to grow petunias from seeds if you just sow them in a pot in mid-March. The soil for petunias can be taken different, universal or for flowering plants, but not for alkaline or strongly acidic ones. The seeds are covered with a soil layer of about 1-2 mm, and the pot itself is covered with paper or glass. Keep the seeds at a temperature of + 20-23 degrees. It is advisable to water the seeds by spraying, and potassium permanganate of light pink color must be added to the water. Spraying should be done 1-2 times a day. When the seeds sprout, the soil can already be watered, but slightly less often.
The air humidity for the seedlings should not be too high, otherwise the plants will die. But feeding should be done regularly - foliar (spraying with water-soluble mineral fertilizers).
When 1-2 true leaves appear on the plant, the petunias must be planted in different peat pots. Petunias can be planted in open ground when the soil warms up well, i.e. somewhere in the middle of May, regularly watering and fertilizing with mineral fertilizers.
