Lobelia cascading
Lobelia cascading is a delicate plant with long hanging shoots that form a spherical bush. Lobelia has small flowers, they completely cover the whole plant. The color of the flowers can be white, blue, purple, blue or lilac-pink.
Lobelia cascading is an annual plant. Lobelia is unpretentious in care, it is resistant to wind and cold. Lobelia prefers sunny places, she needs sufficient soil moisture.
Lobelia cascading can serve as an excellent decoration for a veranda, any balcony, as well as a country house. Lobelia looks very nice in hanging baskets. The advantage of lobelia is flowering until frost. Lobelia can be transplanted during flowering, it tolerates transplantation well.
Lobelia is planted on seedlings in March-April. After the appearance of the first two true leaves, lobelia seedlings dive. It should be cut in small groups of several seedlings. Seedlings in open ground can be planted after the threat of frost has disappeared, in May-June. The distance between plants should be about 15 centimeters. For lobelia, ordinary moist garden soil saturated with humus is suitable.
In August, the bush is pruned low, thanks to which the lobelia will bloom until the very frost. Also, the plant needs complex fertilizers, it needs to be well watered and loosened. In dry weather, watering should be increased. Lobelia goes well with all bright summer plants (sea lobularia, chamomile, white petunia, pelargonium, bell).
For the veranda, of course, it is the very thing that is needed, it will look gorgeous and rich, especially if the presented view in the photo is combined in a designer way with a white kind of libelias.
