Features of reproduction of nolina seeds

Reproduction of this plant by seeds is, although difficult, but the most productive method:

1. First, you need to prepare an appropriate potting mix. For this, peat and sand are taken in equal amounts and mixed. Before planting seeds, they must be soaked for 1-2 days. For this purpose, a growth stimulant or ordinary water is used.
2. The next step is to spread the seeds onto the substrate. The distance between the seeds should be at least 2 centimeters. Put the substrate on top of the seeds. It should be at least 20 degrees. In order for the seeds to germinate as soon as possible, it is necessary to provide a temperature of 24-25 degrees.
3. After planting the seeds, the pot is covered with foil. If condensation appears on the film, then it must be periodically ventilated. Seeds also require moist soil. Moistening must be done as carefully as possible. The soil should not be overly moist or dry, otherwise the seeds will not germinate. This plant emerges within a month. After several leaves appear on them, they must be dived into the soil.

Since this plant has a superficial root system, it must be planted in shallow but wide pots in diameter. A good drainage layer should be placed on the bottom of this pot.
