The queen of all colors rose pictured
Roses ... They are sung by poets, remained eternally alive on the canvases of artists, gave special notes even to the most exquisite perfumes, whole cities are named after them ... You cannot find, perhaps, a more famous flower than a rose. She is unique, for hundreds of years it has been a symbol of beauty and the queen of all colors. And this is not surprising, because the rose in the photo and in life is beautiful!
The story of the rose
As a culture, this flower was bred in the subtropics of Southeast Asia, and after moving to Greece, the rose was proclaimed a symbol of the goddess of beauty and love herself - Aphrodite. But in Rome, greenhouses for the cultivation of this plant were first erected, while in Europe a tradition arose to call the most beautiful girl "the queen of roses".
The rose first came to Russia in the 17th century, and in the gardens of Peter I it took the main place.
In addition to beauty and nobility, the rose has other features - the scent of rose oil is known to many. And not everyone knows that for the manufacture of one kilogram, more than five hundred kilograms of rose petals are needed. Although the scent is gentle enough, it can even seep through a glass bottle. It is simply impossible to replace rose oil with any other.
Probably, there is no need to remind once again about the variety of roses, because it is not so easy to count the number of species - pink and white, dark red and yellow, and even black and blue. Of course, the blue rose is quite a rare occurrence, but the emerald one is no less rare - its soft green petals resemble the wings of a dragonfly. In Italy, a white rose without a single thorn was presented.
There are a lot of varieties of roses, they are all beautiful and very beautiful. Roses are not only beautiful flowers, but also a raw material for perfumery. These flowers, for example, are used to make, rather expensive, rose oil. Also, a delicious jam is made from rose petals.
