Bird cherry - photos and features

For many residents of our strip, bird cherry, photo and live flowering of which can be seen most often in the month of May, is associated with spring and spring cold snap.

The bird cherry belongs to deciduous trees, famous for their fragrant flowers collected in a brush. Many people love bird cherry precisely for its such fragrant flowers, for its tart, astringent berries. But such love often happens from afar: not many people dare to plant this tree on their plots.

This is due to the opinion of a considerable number of gardeners that bird cherry is very unstable to various kinds of pests. As if the bird cherry, the photo of which does not seem to cause any fears, is just a breeding ground for harmful insects.

In fact, there is nothing like this! And you should not be afraid to grow this noble tree on your sites. Bird cherry - the tree opposite is very useful! Its leaves secrete a lot of phytoncides, which helps purify the air. Phytoncides have a detrimental effect on the ubiquitous mosquitoes and ticks.

But it is still better to inhale the aroma of bird cherry flowers in the air, since the concentration of the same phytoncides in small rooms in an apartment or in a country house can cause headaches.

Bird cherry berries are also very useful, although many cannot appreciate their astringent taste.

So we need to discard prejudices and boldly plant this not at all dangerous tree in our plots.
