  • pectin and tannins;
  • amino acids;
  • essential oils;
  • salts - sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium;
  • vitamin C;
  • vitamin R.

In scientific medicine, mountain ash is used as a diuretic, multivitamin and hemostatic agent, as well as to normalize metabolism in the body.

In folk medicine, with the help of mountain ash, rheumatism, menstrual irregularities in women, decreased appetite, kidney and digestive tract diseases, diathesis, hemorrhoids are treated.

At home, you can prepare delicious and very useful infusions, fruit drinks. Also, rowan fruits are used in veterinary medicine to treat lung disease in animals.
