Samsung washing machine errors

What does the DE error mean on a Samsung washing machine?

The manufacturer took care of simple troubleshooting and provided a number of codes for various faults.

As a result, the appearing inscription clearly indicates what to look for. A DE error on a Samsung washing machine means that the hatch door is not closed

There are no other explanations for such a code, so owners of household appliances will have to look for the source of trouble in the hatch.

It is important to emphasize that instead of DE, the DC code can appear or the numbers 1, 2 and 3 appear next to the letters. In each case indicated, the situation does not change, but the source of difficulties remains the same

Other labels such as ED or DOOR indicate a similar problem. In addition, on machines without such indicators, a door that has not been closed is signaled by simultaneously lit indicators of the washing modes. They can be lit or blinking, but the essence remains the same - all existing indicators become active at the same time. In a word, each model of household appliances, including Diamond, has its own indicator.

How to fix error 3E on a Samsung washing machine

If, as a result of inspection and diagnostics of each possible unit, we have identified a faulty one, then you can cope with its repair or replacement yourself, or resort to assistance in repairing equipment by a specialist. Everyone decides what to do in this situation.

But if you decide to cope on your own, then below are written options for eliminating various causes of error code 3E:

  1. If a foreign object gets into the engine or tank of the washing machine, remove it. Often, when washing, personal belongings of their owners fall out of the pockets of things, buttons, zippers fall off. Before washing, you should carefully examine the pockets and the reliability of fastening accessories to things. Seizure of bearings is always accompanied by their hum during operation for a long time. At the first extraneous noise of the machine, measures must be taken to prevent further damage;
  2. Contact problems can be resolved by restoring them. To do this, most often it is enough to clean them from oxidations and other impurities. But in frequent cases, it is necessary to undergo repairs and the power outlet and wiring;
  3. A faulty tachogenerator cannot be repaired, it must be replaced;
  4. If the reason is an excessive load of laundry, you need to partially free the drum from it and start washing again.
  5. The reason for the incorrect assembly of the engine in a new washing machine should be eliminated by warranty services, you should not climb yourself. Moreover, it will be done for free. Well, if current repairs influenced the appearance of code 3E, then it is necessary to re-sort the motor;
  6. A faulty electronic module must be rectified by a qualified technician. If you do not have certain skills in this area, then your attempts to repair the board yourself may cost you in its subsequent complete replacement with a new one. Electronics is an expensive thing and its purchase will not cost you cheap;
  7. If the drive belt is stretched, it must be replaced. You can, of course, pull it on, but a small number of washing machine models have this option;
  8. The malfunction of the motor windings is corrected by rewinding the stator or rotor. This breakdown can only be repaired with the help of a master. But as practice has shown, this is ineffective due to the high requirements for this procedure. To avoid damage to the windings, do not overload the washing machine. In frequent cases, a malfunction appears due to wear of the current-transmitting brushes.These parts are designed to transmit current to the rotating rotor and are subject to inevitable wear during operation.

How does it stand for?

On different models of machines from this manufacturer, the 3E error appears in different ways. On models without a display - by flashing a certain combination of LEDs. On products with a display, a code appears in the form of symbols. When symbols or LEDs light up on the panel or display, the washing machine stops the program and drains the water.

And, if the frequency of the required revolutions does not match the supplied current, the processor sounds the alarm and turns off the machine. A system for recognizing faults has been invented so that the resulting breakdowns do not entail a number of others. And undoubtedly, this function has simplified the tasks of the repairers of such equipment.

Several reasons for the appearance:

The drive motor is blocked by foreign objects. Often this occurs due to seized bearings both in the engine itself and in the tank of the washing machine;
Full or partial loss of contacts in the power supply of the engine or its control system. Most often this occurs due to the use of the device in damp places. The module receives an incorrect signal and turns off the product, all this is accompanied by an emergency drain of water;
The tachogenerator is defective. The tachometer measures the rotor speed and in the absence of signals from it, a malfunction occurs and the machine issues a code;
Drum loading with items exceeded

Users are accustomed to understanding that it is possible to load the washing machine to the maximum allowable level, without taking into account that each type of fabric has a different absorbency. By feeding 5 kg of water, the laundry can turn into a rather heavy mass.

The engine can turn the drum only with great effort. Signals to the module are received incorrectly, and the engine itself is overheating. The program also reports a malfunction with code 3E;
Newly purchased washers may have a malfunction caused by improper motor assembly. It can also be caused after the current repair of the motor;

  • Looseness of the drive belt;
  • Engine malfunction due to heavy loads;
  • The Control Unit may be malfunctioning. Electronics is a fairly reliable thing, but under conditions of correct use. Malfunctions in it occur due to power surges, moisture ingress on its components. It also fails when the operation of the washing machine is not carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's standards. In many models of samsung washing machines, the components of the control unit are filled with a special substance, protecting them from moisture. But this does not mean that the entire device is so protected and can be used in high humidity indoors. This can be unsafe for the owners of the product.

Roof blocking device malfunctions: ED, DC1, DC2, DC, dE1, dE2, dE

We all know that the door for loading laundry during washing is blocked and until the unit finishes the procedure for draining the water, the door will not open. But there are times when a Samsung washing machine, even with the door closed, does not want to start washing and issues a code warning about problems.

This can happen for several reasons, namely:

  • You have often closed the door forcibly.
  • Debris has fallen into the lock slot, or you didn’t notice that you slammed the edge of your laundry shut.
  • Due to vibration, something happened to the sensor, and it turned off.
  • The laundry loading door is not closed securely.

Most of these problems can be fixed right away by simply removing a piece of loose clothing or debris from the lock slot and re-closing the door. But if the problem lies in a sensor malfunction, then you will have to call the wizard.

Preventing the UC error

The main cause of this error is various power supply problems. Reducing the likelihood of its appearance is quite simple - you need to connect the machine through a voltage stabilizer.First of all, this is true for people living in villages and small towns, here it is better not to use a car without a stabilizer.

It is not difficult to choose such a device, in specialized stores there are devices for every taste and wallet.

When choosing, the most important thing is to pay attention to the power for which the device is designed. It must exceed the power consumption of the machine or the total power of the devices that will be powered through it.

How to fix a broken UBL?

Statistics say that in thirty percent of cases, this device, which is responsible for blocking the door, fails. There are reasons for this:

  • the electrical circuit fails, the UBL does not ring out with the device, its complete replacement is required;
  • failure of the mechanical part. Sometimes they try to restore it, but it is not recommended to waste time on unnecessary work. It is better to simply replace the element;
  • the electrical wiring that powers the UBL could be burnt or completely cut off.

There is another likely reason - during self-repair, many remove the front panel of the car, damaging the wiring leading to the door lock.

What to do in such situations? First, you should make sure that the locking device located on the door of the machine is in good condition. After that, we perform the following actions:

on the right side, near the hatch, we find a small hole and a couple of screws holding the UBL, unscrew them;
with our free hand, bend the rubber cuff inside the drum to the maximum possible, then remove the locking device through the slot

But here it is recommended to be careful not to damage the wiring;
the plug with the wiring to the blocker is disconnected;
the resistance indicator of the device is measured, for which it is necessary to use a multimeter .. Having discovered a problem with the UBL, it must be changed immediately in order to exclude repeated situations in the future

It should be noted that the item is purchased in the original version, otherwise it will not work normally.

Probable causes of malfunction requiring professional repair

As the masters note, in Samsung washing machines, error 3e is one of the most common, like the same 8e and EA. But they recommend not to fix it on your own, but immediately contact the master or the service center if the unit is still under warranty.

  1. If the machine picks up water during operation, makes several revolutions of the drum, and, after stopping, gives an error, then a possible malfunction lies in the breakdown of the tacho sensor (Hall sensor). In this case, the master changes the Hall sensor itself.
  2. The machine works as usual, and when you try to change the washing program, the display shows error 3e, or EA or 8e, and so on. The reason for such a breakdown may lie in oxidation, the subsequent weakening of the contact of the magnetic ring of the tachogenerator, as well as the surface of the shaft in the structure of the engine. In this case, a complete replacement of each surface of the tachogenerator unit and the engine shaft is performed.
  3. An equally frequent problem that owners of Samsung washing machines may encounter is that the washing goes well, but after that the laundry is not wrung out. Often after that, an error 3e or 3c appears on the display of the unit, like EA or 8e. As the masters note, the first thing to do is to check the mount, which can unwind during operation, causing the equipment to fail.
  4. The washing machine collects water before starting work and at the same time after starting it does not turn the drum - no matter what program is installed, an error on 3e or another will be displayed on the display.In this case, experts talk about a malfunction in the engine of the unit. Most often they talk about a winding break or a direct short circuit. The malfunction of the winding itself in the electric motor is eliminated by many owners of the units by rewinding in the place where the integrity of the motor is broken. But, as practice shows, this is an ineffective solution to the problem, since it is required to completely change the motor itself.
  5. If the CMA stops, and then gives an error 3e or EA, like 8e, 2-5 minutes after starting the wash, the subsequent spinning, when the unit is gaining speed. In this case, the masters talk about problems with the engine itself - the drive belt has stretched, flew off or stratified. This problem will be indicated by jerks and "overshoots" in the engine during the washing process, and the tachometer sees this malfunction and knocks it out on the display. The solution to this malfunction is simple - the craftsmen can simply change the belt in the drive system. Another reason for the error in this case may be the wear of the brushes of the electric motor - in this case, the electronic field they create will simply not be enough for a full wash and a set of revolutions. The solution to this breakdown is simple and quick - a complete replacement of worn-out brushes, which can be done at home.
  6. Some owners of Samsung washing machines may be faced with a situation in which the drum spins after filling with water, and then displays an error with code 3e on the display, like EA or 8e. Such an error can occur at any stage of starting and operating the unit: at the stage of washing, rinsing and spinning the laundry. Most often, experts call the cause of such a breakdown an open circuit in the tachogenerator circuit - this may be a wire damage or a short circuit, as well as a breakdown of contacts. The solution to the problem is to restore the broken integrity of the wire itself, or to completely replace the loop. The place of the broken contact is re-soldered, the weak contacts are cleaned, and then tightened.
  7. Often the CMA turns off after the start of washing or rinsing, spinning and the display shows error 3e. In this case, the masters talk about a malfunction in the control module itself. The signal coming from it disappears. Most often, the reason for such a breakdown is a break in the track of the electronic board. Perhaps, the elements of the system simply shorted or burned out - a relay, resistance, diodes or a capacitor, which are responsible for the speed, rotation of the engine during operation, as well as communication with the tachogenerator. How to fix the breakage in this case? A simply burnt out and failed element of the system, be it a relay or a diode, is changed to a new one. If the system module itself came out of standing, it is changed to a new one and such work is carried out exclusively by a master who has certain skills and knowledge.

Even if you could not correct the error 3e, EA or 8e issued on the display, do not despair. The main thing is not to try to eliminate it yourself, without having the necessary knowledge and experience. The best solution is to invite a master. And if the unit is under warranty, then the best option would be to give it to a service center.

The moment of appearance of the code and its analogues

Error 3e rarely appears spontaneously. More often it "jumps out" at certain stages of the washing program, showing a certain pattern. Imagine a Samsung washing machine starts washing clothes. Water is collected, the drum gradually begins to spin and suddenly, there is a freeze, the machine stops the rotation of the drum, and at the same minute, error 3e appears on the display. It happens in another way.

  • You are starting a washing program on a Samsung automatic washing machine.
  • The machine draws in water and launches the wash.
  • Next, the washer drains out the dirty water, draws in clean water for rinsing and starts rinsing.
  • This should be followed by a spinning step, but no spinning occurs. The machine, having slightly spun the drum, freezes, giving an error with code 3e.

If you are faced exactly with the above symptoms, but a different code is displayed on the display, remember that error 3e has analogues with a similar decoding. It may very well be that you will come across codes: 3C, 8E, EA, 3e1, 3e2, 3e3, 3e4, 3c1, 3c2, 3c3, 3c4, 8e1, 8c, 8c1. Quite a lot of analogs, it is easy to make mistakes, so be careful. The EA code is typical for washers that came out before 2008, but the codes 8E, 8e1, 8c, 8c1 are typical for washers younger than 2013.

Another question arises: how does error code 3e appear on Samsung washing machines that do not have a display? In the picture below you will see the answer to it. When such an error occurs, two 40C lamps light up on the display, and then Bio 60C. But that's not all, the wash program indicators will flash quickly.

How does it stand for?

As always, let's start by literally deciphering error 3e. It means a problem with the tachometer or the engine. Such a lengthy description of the error can hardly suit us, so we will try to decipher it in more detail. First of all, we will decipher the twin errors that are found on some Samsung washing machines instead of the 3e code.

  1. The error with the EA code is deciphered in exactly the same way as 3e, just this code was used on older Samsung washing machines, however, we already talked about this above.
  2. Codes 8e, 8c, 8c1 mean problems with the vibration sensor, which is installed on the most modern models of washing machines.
  1. Error 8e1 indicates serious malfunctions in engine control, in fact, a complete loss of communication with a vibration or tachometer.
  2. Well, errors of the 3C series may appear due to the loss of engine power of the Samsung washing machine.

Why does the code appear?

Conventionally, the problems that this error "symbolizes" can be divided into two categories. The first category includes malfunctions that do not entail damage to parts and assemblies of the Samsung washing machine, and to the second category we include more serious breakdowns that give rise to the need to carry out serious repairs to the "home assistant". So let's start with simple troubleshooting.

At first glance, it may seem ridiculous, but such banal things as overloading the drum with laundry can lead to an error with code 3e or 3C. If you put too little laundry, a 3C error may appear. These codes can also symbolize drum jamming due to foreign objects falling between the tank and the drum if the engine does not have enough power to overcome the jam. Any of the above errors can pop up due to a short-term failure in the self-diagnostic system, and if so, you are very lucky - nothing needs to be fixed.

Let's move on to the second category of faults. Error 3e may result from the complete combustion of the tachometer and a complete break in communication with it. If there is a vibration sensor on a Samsung washing machine instead of a tachometer, similar troubles may arise with it. Not everything is going smoothly with the engine either. When an error 3C appears, one can judge the loss of engine power due to worn brushes or a broken winding.

The tachometer may give incorrect signals due to oxidation of the magnetic ring or the motor shaft. Also, dirt gets between the motor shaft and the tacho sensor ring, which causes the same problems. Weakening of the tachometer signal, or its periodic disappearance may be due to poor attachment of this sensor to the engine, all this can also generate an error with code 3e.

One of the rarest causes of error 3e and its analogs is a loose drive belt. Due to a similar problem, the engine cannot gain speed and spin the drum, which is sometimes perceived by the washing machine's self-diagnosis system as a problem with the motor, which is why it issues code 3e.

What does this code mean?

When the conversation starts about a special system for self-diagnosis of Samsung brand washing machines, we can confidently say that all coded signals starting with such a letter "H" signal a breakdown of the heating device. And the rest of the alphanumeric prefixes concretize the problem.

In our situation, the error code does NOT mean that the water is heated above forty degrees in just a couple of minutes. What does it mean? The heating element heats up faster than usual, and it does it regardless of the conditions determined by a particular program.

The specialist understands that the water heater is functioning, there is no break in the electrical circuit, but something is causing the malfunction. This three-digit designation is the advantage of the encoding of Samsung typewriters, because it conveys data about the problem more accurately than a two-digit signal. The specialist gets the opportunity to quickly identify the malfunction.

Errors in water supply

When there are problems with the supply and flow of water from the water supply system, several values are displayed.

E1

At any stage of washing, an E1 error may appear on the display board, indicating a problem with water entering the drum. The problem arises at the stage of water collection before washing, during preparation for rinsing the laundry.

There are several unfavorable factors in the emergence of a problem situation:

  • lack of water;
  • access to water is blocked (they often forget about a blocked tee tap);
  • clogged filters;
  • malfunction of the control system;
  • damaged contacts and wiring.

4C2

The code will pop up on the display of the washing machine in case of hot water supply (temperature above 55 degrees)

It is important to remember that only cold tap water should go into the drum of the machine.

The inlet hose should only be connected to a cold water tap. Before turning on the equipment, you need to check what kind of water is being poured. If it's hot, then you need to wait until the cold one flows. In the event that this did not happen, be sure to use the help of a plumber.

4C

This code indicates a problem with the water supply system. In some situations, you will be able to cope on your own, in others, you cannot do without the help of a specialist and replacement of some parts:

  • The cold water supply is turned off in the entire plumbing system.
  • Damage to any part of the hose.
  • Hot water supply.
  • Clogged or damaged filter.
  • Incorrect water supply to the machine.

4E2

If the temperature of the water entering the drum is higher than 55 degrees, then the error code 4E2 will be displayed. The problem is associated with a malfunction in the sensor or wires connected to the control module.

4E

When the technician does not register the flow of water, an error 4E is issued. There are many reasons for its appearance:

  • lack of water in the water supply;
  • the supply tap is closed;
  • breakdown of the filling valve;
  • leaks lead to flooding of internal systems with water;
  • damage to electrical wires;
  • the value jumps out in the event of a breakdown of the control module.

4E1

Most often, the problem code occurs when the water temperature exceeds 70 degrees during the drying process of the washed items.

If the device does not provide for water heating, then a supply system for both cold and hot water from the water supply is equipped. Each hose has its own inlet valve. If you mix up the inlets, an error will occur. Such car models are extremely rare, so the problem is not common.

Water drain errors

If, within the allotted time, the water has not left the drum of the washing equipment, then the error code is displayed on the display.

E2

There are several reasons:

  • drain channels are dirty;
  • damage to the sensor, which is responsible for the level of water intake;
  • damaged control module;
  • improper operation of the drain pump.

5E

This problem occurs when the machine stops washing the laundry and starts the rinsing program. The machine should drain the dirty water and fill the drum with clean water.If this is not possible, error 5E is issued. The cause is damage to the water drain pump or its contamination.

5C

The machine does not empty the used water in the following cases:

  • the filter or drain pipe is clogged with debris;
  • damage to various sections of the drain hose;
  • freezing of water in the car.

If the display shows a 5C error, you need to turn off the machine, drain the water through the emergency exit, clean the filters and hoses, as well as the sewer.

Updating the range of samsung cars

On the drum diamond drum

The foam generator dissolves the powder in water, mixes it with air, while producing abundant foam, which enters the tank during the entire washing cycle.

The smart check self-diagnosis system analyzes the operation of the units, and the resulting file is sent to the owner's smartphone.

The volt control function protects the device from power surges, which minimizes damage caused by power surges.

Inverter motors are installed on samsung devices, which do not have rubbing parts in their design, which guarantees an increase in the service life.

The heating elements are ceramic coated to prevent limescale build-up.

Probable reasons for refusal

When you find a similar signal on the screen, get ready to fix the breakdown, because the problem is not related to voltage surges in the electrical network. It also cannot be connected with short-term interruptions of electronics.

What are the main problems? There are two of them:

  • temperature sensor failure;
  • breakdown of the control board.

The temperature control device sends data on the heating of the heating element. With the help of such a sensor, the control module regulates the temperature of the heating element in accordance with a given program. If the sensor breaks down, then the control module loses the ability to control the performance of the heating device, and after turning on the SM, it heats up to the maximum level. At the same time, the module, which is responsible for control and does not have updated information from the temperature sensor, in emergency mode turns off the heater and gives a signal NOT 1, interrupting the wash.

Quite often, the temperature controller is installed directly on the heating element, and it will not be difficult to find it. True, you will have to get to the heating device, partially disassembling the washing machine.

What if the problem is not with the sensor? In such a situation, it is recommended to look for a breakdown directly in the control module. If the track or the triac responsible for controlling the heating element burns out, then the exact same signal will be displayed on the screen, but the repair work will be much more difficult and will require large financial costs.

Reasons for the error

There are many reasons why the E1 / E7 error occurs on a Samsung typewriter. Although at first glance it seems that everything is simple. So, Samsung SMA can issue E1 (E7) for the following reasons:

  • There is no water in the pipeline. An unexpected cut-off of water at the time of washing does not coincide often, but such a possibility exists. Sometimes the error is triggered by a blocked tee tap on the pipe, which the user forgot to open before washing.
  • If the Aquastop system is installed in the Samsung device (protection of the washing machine from leaks), then E1 / E7 may occur due to its operation.
  • The pressure switch tube is loose or bent.
  • Intake valve filter clogged. Before entering the inlet hose, the water passes through a small mesh. Over time, it can become clogged, which will slow down the flow of water that enters the drum. As a result, the machine generates an error E1 / E7 or similar.
  • Failure in the control module. Usually such violations are short-term, and are "cured" by a simple restart of the washing machine.
  • Wiring problems. The wires can burn out or fray (or simply move away), and the contacts can oxidize. This is fraught not only with the occurrence of errors during the operation of the unit, but also with a short circuit.And this is already a direct threat not only to the machine itself, but also to human life.
  • Intake valve defective. For example, after a burnout. An inoperative valve will not be able to open and close correctly, and the E1 / E7 code will appear on the display at the start of the program.
  • Other problems with the pressure switch and the electronic "filling" of the washing machine. They arise due to the presence of a factory defect, a short circuit, the ingress of liquid on sensitive circuits, etc. In this case, the electronic module can issue all sorts of errors, and not only E1 or E7.

Code options

Earlier, we have repeatedly said that the error codes of the self-diagnosis system of Samsung washing machines are by no means unified. In some models, with a similar breakdown of the machine, the HE2 error pops up, in others E5, in others E6, and in the fourth in general H1, H2 or HE1. In this situation, getting confused in decoding these codes "just to spit" even for a master is not like a beginner DIY, so we recommend that you show special care and discretion.

  • Н1 - the heating element heats up too quickly, in 2 minutes to 40C or more, which can lead to its burnout.
  • HE1 - fast uncontrolled heating of the heating element to 95C and above.
  • HE2 - The heating element heats the water in the tank very slowly, no more than 2C for 10 minutes.
  • H2 - the heating element does not heat up due to an open circuit.
  • E5, E6 - decoding is similar to H1 and H2, respectively.

The E6 error should not be confused with the 6E error, since these errors are deciphered in completely different ways. There is a separate publication on the error with the H2 code on our website, which is called the Error H2 on the Samsung washing machine, if you are interested in the details, read it, you will not regret it.

Let's decipher the code

This code can be briefly interpreted as a heating element error. But what does the phrase "heating element error" mean, what is hidden under it? And there are two faults hidden under it. The first is connected directly with the heating element when the heating element burns out completely and a part needs to be replaced. The second is connected with the power supply problems of the heating element, when its contact burns out or the wiring is cut off. In either case, the heating element stops functioning, and the self-diagnosis system reacts to this in the above described way.

How to get to the heating element?

Before deciding to replace the heating element or to repair the contacts and wiring, you need to decide what exactly broke. It is impossible to do this in absentia without disassembling the Samsung washing machine. So, we have one thing left, to get to the heating element and see what is wrong there. We do the following.

  • We take out the powder receptacle, and then through a special hose, which is located near the garbage filter, we drain the water from the tank. If the Samsung machine issued an error 6E before water was filled into the tank or the washing machine had time to drain the water, you can skip this step.
  • Dismantle the top cover of the Samsung washing machine.
  • We unscrew the screws that are located to the right and left of the niche of the powder receptacle. And one screw, which is located on the right side of the control panel from the end.
  • Pry off the control panel with a flat screwdriver and slide it up. There is no need to remove the panel at all, since an impressive bundle of wires comes up to it, removing them, and then putting them back in place is an extra work.
  • Now we turn to the cuff of the hatch. We need to take it off. It is not difficult, but if you have problems, read the article How to remove the cuff of a washing machine hatch.
  • A narrow decorative panel is located at the front of the base of the washing machine. They are attached to the latches, in order to remove these latches, we catch them with a flat screwdriver, and then remove the panel.
  • Under the lower ledge of the front panel of the Samsung washing machine, we find 4 bolts and unscrew them.
  • There are a few more screws above the top ledge of the front panel that need to be removed.
  • Disconnect the wiring from the sunroof locking device. The device itself does not need to be removed.
  • We grab the front wall with both hands, slightly lift it up, remove it and put it aside.

Well, we can see a heating element right under the hatch of the Samsung washing machine sticking out of the front wall of the tank. More precisely, we will not see the entire heating element, but only a small part of it: contacts, a sealing rubber, the base of the case and the fastening element, but this is already very good.

Replacing the washing machine heater

Well, well, let's arm ourselves with a device called a multimeter and check the resistance of the heating element contacts. If the resistance value is 25-30 Ohm, the heating element is most likely in good order, but if zero or one is lit on the instrument panel, the part needs to be changed. If the heating element is in good working order, we carefully examine the contacts and the wiring that feeds the heating element, there is definitely something.

If the heater is still faulty, you need to start replacing it, but first remove the faulty part. This is easy to do:

  1. unscrew the central nut, which is located between the contacts of the heating element;
  2. very carefully, grabbing the hairpin with pliers, swing the ten from side to side;
  3. we apply a light blow with pliers on the hairpin, the ten should move a little inward;
  4. using the same flat screwdriver, remove the heating element outward.

Now let's examine the burnt out heating element. Usually, a large amount of scale and all kinds of debris adhere to a faulty heater in a washing machine. If you have a ceramic heating element on your car, this is the worst. Do not take exactly the same heating element in any case, it is better to look for a metal analogue, because heaters with a ceramic coating have shown themselves very poorly.

We are looking for and buying an ordinary metal heating element for a Samsung washing machine, sandpaper the seat, insert a new heating element into the hole and screw it on. Then we hang the wiring on the contacts, after which we assemble the washing machine, install it and check for operability.

Summing up, we note that a 6E error on a Samsung washing machine almost always means a breakdown of average complexity. So do not hesitate, carefully study our publication and start repairing your "home assistant". Do not put off this matter, otherwise the machine will not wash. Good luck!
