Diseases and pests of pepper

Pepper pests do not give rest to many people to grow crops normally, and therefore you have to constantly monitor how the vegetable crop grows. One of the most dangerous pests of bell pepper is aphid, which feeds on plant sap, settling on flowers, stems and leaves.

A rapidly decomposing insecticide can be used to control aphids. For example, keltan or karbofos must be used exclusively before or after flowering. They are diluted at the rate of 1 tablespoon per 10 liters of water. If you are a supporter of folk remedies for pest control of pepper, then you can prepare a solution from wood ash or tobacco dust. So, one glass is poured with 10 liters of hot water, and then left for a day. Before spraying, the mixture is thoroughly stirred, filtered and a tablespoon of liquid soap is added.

But that's not all pepper diseases. The culture is also affected by spider mites. To destroy it, a solution is made from garlic, dandelion or onion leaves, passed through a meat grinder, and liquid soap. Then the mixture is filtered, and then the plant is sprayed, regardless of the phase of development of the vegetable culture.

As you can see, before growing pepper, you need to be prepared for possible difficulties. An important role is played by what kind of pepper seeds you buy. After all, the quantity of the harvested crop depends on their quality. Cultivation will be successful if the seeds have been stored for 3-4 years before.

Pepper cultivation also depends on soil and predecessors. Ideally, the ground should be lightweight, moisture and breathable.
