What we get with food nourishes our body, but is not always beneficial. Many scientists, nutritionists, biologists, physicians, geneticists and the like "pundits" argue about what should be a healthy diet. Some say - you need to eat often and fractionally, others - no, you need to give the stomach a normal respite. Some say that you need to eat more in the morning, others recommend moving heavy food to the afternoon, and eating more vegetables and fruits in the morning. But everyone agrees that natural food products, those that nature gives us, are always useful and they recommend relying on natural vitamins.
One of these vegetables useful for humans is cabbage. It is surprising already in that when leavened it only increases its healing properties. No representative of the garden flora can boast of such a property. And how many different types of cabbage can be purchased in the store or grown on your site!
White and red, Peking, Brussels and Savoy, broccoli and kohlrabi. Each of these types has its own benefits, and they are all tasty and healthy. Cabbage has long been used by our people to treat various ailments. Until now, many people prefer not to drink a pill for a headache, but to put a cool cabbage leaf on their forehead. Young mothers are advised to do the same in order to avoid lactostasis (when the breast is bursting and sore from excessive milk supply). Only in this case, it is no longer necessary to apply it to the head, but to the chest.
Growing cabbage in your garden is not so difficult. This is not the most whimsical culture to care for (except that it is more difficult to grow colored and other exotic species). And it will be useful - for the whole winter.
