Different varieties of strawberries: we eat sweet berries all summer
Strawberries in all their variety are an insanely tasty berry, which also has valuable healing properties. Thanks to breeders from different countries of the world, we have the opportunity to eat strawberries almost all year round. It is grown in open ground and greenhouses, some varieties ripen early, others bear fruit almost until the end of summer. Early, Mid-Early, Mid-Late, and Late are all classifications to help you plan your grow and care. After all, each species has its own individual needs.
Different types of strawberries are recommended to be placed in separate areas. Only varieties with the same ripening period can be combined.
Early strawberries are best planted in July-August, when they have finished bearing fruit. It's good to do this in cool rather than hot weather. Speaking about the correct fit, you need to take into account the characteristics of a particular variety (for example, the level of whisker formation, which affects the density of the rows).
Strawberry varieties of medium ripening times most often do not give a lot of whiskers. And the yield of such varieties is usually higher. Therefore, many prefer this particular segment. They are planted in the fall.
Planting time for late-ripening varieties is spring. The bush cultivation method suits them best. Remnant or neutral strawberries can be planted at any time (except for the ripening period of the fruits, this is about a month and a half). These species also prefer bush planting. They require more careful care, but they yield several times a season.
Note to gardeners: remontant strawberries cannot be kept for more than two years, they degenerate and cease to bear fruit.
Reclaimer strawberries love acidic soil.
It is very good to collect litter in a pine forest and fertilize it. He also loves river sand, because its roots do not grow down, but superficially.
