Calla flowers
If you love a variety of flowering plants, then you have probably seen calla flowers sometime. And perhaps they were grown in their own garden.
Calla lilies bloom with very original peduncles that end in a yellow, pink or snow-white funnel-shaped bedspread. This flower can also be found under such names as richardia, calla, zantedeschia.
Calla flowers are perennial herbaceous plants that have a fleshy tuberous rhizome. These flowers can reach a height of 80 cm. Many varieties of calla lilies can be found. Moreover, the length of the peduncles for each variety can be different - from 40 cm to 1.5 meters. It is for this difference that calla lilies are divided into medium, high and low.
Calla is a rather unpretentious plant and at the same time has ecological plasticity. This plant is capable of growing under fairly large fluctuations in humidity, light, and temperature.
In the house for calla lilies, it is better to choose a place from sunny to semi-shaded. Of course, in summer it is better to put in partial shade, but in autumn you can put it closer to the sun. In the summertime, it is very beneficial to take the feces out into the fresh air. By the middle of autumn, calla lilies have the very first flower stalks. Flowering can continue at home in the month of May, and in June and July, and this plant comes a dormant period. During this dormant period, the plant must be watered once every 10 days.
Throughout the year, calla lilies develop and also die off one leaf at a time. Dead leaves must be removed. If the room is very dry, then it is necessary to spray the plant.
