This plant is characterized as early maturing and cold-resistant. Can survive light frosts well. The plant is light-requiring, although it grows with a little shade. Frequent watering will be needed, and will be most suitable for flooded areas. It perceives the soil unpretentious, as well as slight differences in heat.

Sowing seedlings is best done at the end of March. Planting begins in May, from the middle. Scheme 25x25 cm.
