Homemade grape juice
Grape juice is one of the best juices. This juice is rich in vitamins, therefore it is very often used for dietary and medicinal purposes.
On average, grape juice contains the following elements (per 100 grams): water (60-80g), protein (0.2-0.9g), carbohydrates (10-30g), organic acids (0.5-1.7g), potassium (250mg), calcium (50mg), phosphorus (20mg) and other minerals. It also contains vitamins C, B1, B2, P and others.
So how do you make grape juice at home? The grapes must be harvested in the morning before the grapes are heated. Because if you pick the heated berries, the resulting juice can ferment.
After picking the berries, they must be washed and sorted out. After that, they must be thoroughly dried. The next step is to dip the berries into boiling water. We take the berries and put them in an enamel pan. We wait until the berries have cooled. The cooled berries can be squeezed out in a juicer or in a screw press.
The resulting juice is heated to 90 degrees and poured into clean dishes (cans, bottles). After that, these dishes are rolled up with lids. If it is necessary for the juice to be transparent, then it is defended for several days. After the juice has settled, it must be brought back to 90 degrees and poured into the dishes.
That is, as you may have noticed, there is nothing difficult in making grape juice. But it is best to eat grape juice fresh, like any other. Since it is in the fresh juice that the maximum amount of minerals and vitamins is contained. After pasteurization, some of the vitamins and minerals are lost.
And I make juice from grapes in a juicer. True, only white seedless grapes are suitable for this. It turns out very tasty with apples.

It seems that making juice from grapes is no more difficult than, for example, from apples. It is a pity that grapes do not grow in our region, and it probably makes no sense to make juice from store grapes.
Quite often, when making homemade wine, I drink grape juice that has not yet fermented. This is a delicious refreshing drink. But for some reason, they put too much sugar in store products.
