Such a simple care for a violet

Caring for a violet is the key to the successful development of a green pet. This plant is relatively unpretentious, but certain rules must be followed when keeping it, and then the violet will delight you with healthy green leaves and bright flowers for a very long time.

Violet care begins with choosing the location of the flower. Here you should be guided, by and large, by only one criterion: a large amount of light in the absence of direct sunlight, especially when it comes to the scorching midday sun. It is best to place the pot on the north window. If there is no suitable place for the violet and it is placed on the south window, it is imperative to hang thick curtains on it. Another important condition is the correct size of the pot. A very small amount of soil is enough for this plant (in addition, small graceful violets do not look at all in large containers), so it can be planted in a plastic pot, the height of which is 10, and the diameter is 10-15 centimeters. The main thing is that there is good drainage in the container: it can be filled with expanded clay up to half, and a piece of charcoal and ordinary garden soil can be placed on top.

It is also very important to water the plant properly. Water should be poured from below, so that it does not fall on the leaves, otherwise they will start to rot. You can also use the so-called drainage watering: pour pre-heated water into a small bowl and place the pot in it so that the water reaches its edges. You can take out the violet when the topsoil becomes wet.
