Indoor ivy
Indoor ivy is a favorite plant of both beginner amateur flower growers and professional florists, because this plant is not picky in care, and can become an adornment of any interior. Heder (also called ivy) is put in the bathroom by many - it gives a feeling of freshness, coziness and summer mood.
Indoor ivy care
The plant belongs to shade-tolerant, but this does not mean that it can be settled in a dark corner. On the contrary, with sufficient lighting, ivy can show itself in all its beauty. It should be remembered that a change of location and direct sunlight have a negative effect on the plant.
The air temperature for ivy is up to 25 degrees, but it should be regularly and often sprayed with settled water. In the summer, indoor ivy can be taken outside and hung on the wall of the house in the shade - it looks very beautiful.
Watering: there are no peculiarities in this process - in the summer it is necessary to ensure that the earth does not dry out, and in the winter - so that it remains moderately moist. But ivy treats spraying and bathing very well, so you should not deny him such pleasure.
Top dressing: if you want ivy to please with a dark green "live" leaf, then feed your pet with fertilizer for ornamental plants once every two weeks.
Transplanting: it is better to carry out in the spring, not more often than once every two years.
Reproduction: indoor ivy reproduces very easily - it is enough to cut a stalk on which there are a couple of leaves and plant it in the ground (better, several cuttings in one pot at once).
I wonder if he is not poisonous for pets? I just recently found out that many indoor plants are poisonous ..
