Cyclamen Persian. Care features
Persian cyclamen has become a favorite of many because of the time of its flowering: in winter, when usually most plants go into a state of calm, it pleases with its beautiful flowers, delicate and colorful at the same time. Cyclamen is suitable for people with frequent mood swings. It creates a unique atmosphere in the house, and stroking it you can forget about the problems and usual fuss.
Cyclamen got its name from the shape of a round bulb. She, by the way, has only one growth zone, which makes the flowerpot vulnerable enough.
Cyclamen flowers resemble a butterfly, and their shades are different - from pale pink to deep purple.
Features of growing cyclamen
Persian cyclamen is quite demanding, so you need to know some of the features of caring for it:
- lighting - cyclamen does not like direct sunlight, but there should be a sufficient amount of light;
- watering is very important for cyclamen, during the growth period it should be watered often with settled water and at the same time it is imperative to ensure that water does not fall on the bulb, it is best to water from a pallet;
- temperature - the plant does not tolerate high temperatures, it is comfortable for it at 10-12 degrees;
- spraying is a prerequisite for growing cyclamen, but it must be carried out very carefully, making sure that water does not get on the corm and on the flower zone;
- transplanting - it is necessary to transplant the flowerpot when new leaves begin to appear, the pot must be small, and the bulb cannot be planted deep into the ground (no more than 2/3 of the bulb).
Cyclamen also does not like dry air. Therefore, in winter, it is necessary to maintain high humidity in the room.
