All diesel engine manufacturers recommend the use of a mineral or semi-synthetic oil adapted for use in different seasons. It should be replaced with a new one after 50 hours of operation. During the running-in period, the unit must be operated for the first 50 hours without using attachments. Only engage after running-in is complete. It is advisable to run in the power take-off shaft at low speeds with a periodic increase to medium and high.
It is necessary to adhere to the maintenance table in the operating instructions to keep the tractor in good working order for a long period of time.
When carrying out regular maintenance, you must:
- Check for oil in the tank and top up if necessary.
- Clean from adhesion of dirt.
- Make sure there are no leaks.
- Examine the wheels and check the tire pressure.
- Tighten all fasteners and check that the connections are secure.
In order to keep the mini tractor intact, it is necessary to properly prepare it for winter downtime. It is desirable that it be stored in a dry, ventilated area.
Before conservation, it is advisable to perform the following steps:
- Remove dirt.
- Rinse filters.
- Drain the cooling system.
- Check all contacts and tighten the fasteners.
- Wipe all metal surfaces with an oily cloth to prevent corrosion.

Malfunctions and their elimination
Yanmar mini-tractors rarely break down, but despite this, replacement parts can be purchased in stores and agricultural machinery dealerships.
The most common malfunctions are as follows.
- The attachment does not function under the influence of the hydraulic pump. The reason for this situation may be a lack of oil, a turned off hydraulic pump, or a stuck safety valve. The user should add oil or clean the safety valve.
- Excessive vibration of the unit. A problem of this kind can occur as a result of poor quality fuel or lubricant, loose bolts, poor aggregation of the attachment.Also, the cause may be a malfunction in the carburetor, worn belts, and contact separation from the spark plugs.
- The brake does not apply. To eliminate the problem, it is worth adjusting the pedal free wheeling position, as well as replacing the brake disc or pads.
