• There is an opinion that it is better to mow with a petrol cutter in one speed mode. This opinion is not correct. Operating at the same power not only increases fuel consumption, but also increases wear on parts. If you mow with a petrol cutter in one speed mode (this is usually done by beginners), this will be reflected in an increase in fuel consumption and engine overheating. For comparison, you can imagine the work of a chainsaw. The sawman gives maximum speed only when necessary, but when the cutting of the tree is completed, the chainsaw works at XX, thereby cooling it down.
