In order to give a garden plot originality, it is not always necessary to order expensive design projects. Sometimes it is enough to look around, find an old unnecessary object and make an original element of landscape design out of it. We propose to consider 10 options when a personal plot is transformed in just a day without any serious costs.
New track
To take a fresh look at your garden path, try laying it out with materials that are certainly available on every site. All it takes to create this wooden walkway is to remove the topsoil and then place the wooden planks. If a separate board starts to rot afterwards, just pull it out and replace it. It is convenient to make such paths along the bushes, as well as decorate the transition from the main path to the gazebo with planks.
Plant fence
A wicker fence or a low edging of flower beds will give the site a finished and very cozy look. Such a fence is made very simply. It will require tree branches of various lengths. Pegs are driven in along the perimeter of the landing, preferably at the same height and at an equal distance from each other. And then the branches prepared in advance are intertwined between them. If necessary, they can be secured with wire.
Plant transplant
Separating perennial plants that form dense, shapeless plantings (peonies, asters, chrysanthemums, hosts, etc.) is the best way to give the site a well-groomed look, and at the same time get new plants that can be planted in other places. In addition, the timely separation of plants gives them more maneuver for growth, and also prevents pests and diseases from infesting the plantings. Do this work in early spring or late fall when the plant is not blooming.
Mulch edging
There are many reasons to add a ring of mulch around a young tree. It insulates the soil from extreme heat and cold, retains moisture, prevents weeds from growing around the tree and prevents roots from penetrating through the surface to the outside, where they can present a stumbling hazard and interfere with mowing. Mulch can be obtained from sawdust, or you can purchase a ready-made mixture - the choice is yours.
Flower bed in an old tree stump
Regardless of whether the tree was felled, rotted from old age, or knocked down by bad weather, an unfortunate stump remains from it, with which you need to do something. Costly and time-consuming uprooting of a tree stump is not the only solution to the problem. Armed with inspiration, you can transform an abandoned tree stump into a unique designer flower bed.
While the rot has not yet destroyed its insides, you need to gouge the center of the stump with a jigsaw and chisel, fill the hollow core with soil, and then plant your favorite flowers.

Bucket installation
If an old trash can is lying around in your household, even if not completely whole and strong, we suggest using it to create a landscape composition. To do this, the bucket is placed on its side on a small hill in the area of the stump to create the illusion that it fell on its side and splashed flowers around. Accordingly, any unpretentious flowers are planted in the bucket itself and next to it.

Flowerbeds at the table leg
If your site has stationary pieces of furniture, for example, a swing, table or bench, we suggest decorating their fixed parts by planting low flowering plants at their base. For example, you can place bright, unpretentious one-year-olds near the leg of a table or barbecue.
Planting trees
Plant tree seedlings on the site - this will not only decorate it, but in the future will also allow you to get a rich harvest or enjoy reading a book in the shade of spreading branches. It is best to buy trees at the end of the season, when the discount season starts at the nurseries. And the tree should be planted in the afternoon.
Fountain splash
Why spend money buying an expensive garden fountain in a store when you can make this beauty with your own hands by collecting several garden items that are found in almost every yard. To create it, large ceramic pots are suitable, placed on bricks dug into the ground and held on to them with a special mixture or glue. The water flows thanks to a vinyl tube attached to a submersible pump inside the lower floor of the installation. To complete the composition, place small gravel and sea pebbles in the pots.

Raised flower beds
Raised garden beds are ideal for your yard as they are protected from pests and weeds. This inexpensive idea of unusual landscaping can be completed in less than a day and requires only a few planks and fixings. The deep and wide frame makes it possible to grow an edible garden full of your favorite seasonal vegetables.
