How to plant grapes with cuttings is my favorite method.

Many people know firsthand such a wonderful plant as grapes. Its fruits are so juicy, healthy, and the foliage creates shade and coolness in summer, braiding the structure in the shape of a gazebo, that every gardener who is convinced of this immediately wants to have grapes on his site. Naturally, in order not to spend extra money, you can always ask your friends of summer residents to share with you the cuttings of the plant during the autumn pruning of the bushes, tk. it is the most practical and reliable breeding method.

Having received the cherished shoots, we instantly ask our neighbor: “What to do next? How to plant grapes with cuttings? " Of course, before winter, no one will plant them anywhere, so first you just have to save them until spring. This is done quite simply: we soak it in water for a day, disinfect it, dry it and, after packing it in cellophane, store it in a refrigerator or basement in a temperature range of 0 + 2 degrees.

At the end of the second month of winter, we take out our "seedlings" and again soak them in water for two days, changing it daily. On the third day, we place the cutting in a root growth stimulator. Having completed all these manipulations, we can safely proceed to my favorite method of how to plant grapes with cuttings.

The essence of the method: we take a half-liter plastic glass and make several holes in its bottom. We pour leaf humus and soil in equal proportions. The thickness of this layer should not exceed 2-3cm. After that, place a 200 ml hollow cup in the center. Inside, we fill it with sand (preferably washed) - it performs the function of drainage, and we fill the space between the glasses with earth. We moisten the sand, take out a small glass and make a hole with a stick for planting a grape cuttings. Add ground on top and cover with a plastic bottle, from which we first cut off the bottom and unscrew the lid. Every day we try to water with a small amount of warm liquid until several grown leaves appear. Only after that do we remove our "plastic protection".

Later, you can transplant the sprouted stalk into a bucket or large pot and let it grow stronger. Around June, when it will probably already be constantly warm and no cold winds will threaten your vine, you can transplant the cutting into the garden, choosing a sunny place for the vine.
