Correct agrotechnology of peppers will help to get a rich harvest.

We do not often think about how, from a scientific point of view, to grow this or that garden or vegetable garden culture. So when growing peppers, we only know that they are planted for seedlings, then in a greenhouse, where they are watered and hilled. but what is the correct farming technique for peppers?

First, when thinking about how to plant peppers in your garden, you need to find a suitable place for them. And for this, not only a swampy area with nearby groundwater is completely unsuitable, but also fertile good land on which tomatoes, potatoes or the same peppers grew a year earlier, i.e. cultures of the nightshade family. For planting peppers, it is best to choose a piece of land where meadow grasses previously grew, melons - pumpkins or zucchini, well, or watermelons, as well as onions, carrots, etc. Salty soil, soil with high acidity is not suitable for pepper. He loves well fertilized, black earth soil.

Peppers - both sweet and pungent - are best grown by sowing seedlings. This will make it possible to adjust the number of plants needed for planting, to select strong and healthy shoots. Peppers are sown for seedlings in February-March, depending on the region. since the root system of peppers develops poorly and it is easy to damage it when transplanting plants, it is best to sow peppers so that they do not dive later. for this, it is necessary to use peat pots filled with fertile soil, distributing one or two seeds into one pot. Before the emergence of shoots, it is best to cover the pots of pepper with a film, observing a temperature regime of 23-25 degrees. When shoots appear, it is best to remove the film so that the plants do not rot, but the temperature for their growth should still be high enough 18-20 degrees.

Plants are planted in a greenhouse or on open ground only when the weather is warm, with a night temperature of at least plus 14 degrees. The plants themselves should already have 10-12 leaves and reach 16-20 centimeters in height.

Pepper loves water, but doesn't like too much water. Therefore, it is necessary to water the peppers once a week, but very abundantly. Plants are fed 2-3 times per season.

Good luck!
