Parsley and its cultivation
Parsley is the herb that practically no dish can do without. Moreover, it can be used not only as a decoration. There is even an oriental salad called Tabouleh, where fresh parsley and other greens are the main ingredient.
If the benefits of parsley are not yet known to you, then we advise you to read this kind of information that will convince you that all housewives need to grow it at home.
Parsley on the windowsill
First of all, you will need to purchase parsley seeds. You will also need long boxes or containers filled with special soil suitable for violets. The soil needs to be watered with hot water, and then small grooves should be made in it, into which the seeds themselves are placed directly. As for the distance that should be between the grooves, it is usually indicated on the seed bag. As soon as the curly parsley is sown, it must be sprinkled with earth by 1 cm, but no more.
In general, growing parsley at home will require a significant amount of time, diligence and patience from you. It must be watered every other day, but in the mornings and evenings in small portions. In general, watering parsley is highly dependent on the weather. For example, on hot days, the plant needs moisture every day.
If your leaf parsley will grow in the autumn-winter period, then a fluorescent lamp should be installed at a height of 50 cm, which will replace natural light with it. If you sow seeds in February-March, then artificial lighting is not required.
I am having a problem with the parsley being pulled rather than branching. This ended the cultivation of parsley at home.
