The hibiscus in the photo is decorative even without flowers
The hibiscus in the photo is always gorgeous: both blooming and simply with its bright green foliage, it becomes an adornment of your windowsill or garden.
Selection does not stand still, every year for lovers of hibiscus there are more and more new varieties that you want to have in your collection. Usually, having bought one hibiscus, few can resist and not have a whole hibiscus garden.
After all, each variety of this plant is not like another: the flowers can be simple in shape or double, and there is no need to talk about the color, it is so rich and varied.
In care, hibiscus are not too whimsical, but still you need to know some of the nuances of growing them.
For good growth and flowering, hibiscus must be placed in well-lit places, they tolerate partial shade, but flowering will not be very successful.
But a place that is too open to the sun, and as a result, an increased temperature (above +30) and a reduced air humidity can lead to dropping of buds.
Also, dry air and high temperatures contribute to the reproduction of spider mites on plants. This pest is very fond of hibiscus, it can be quite difficult to deal with it. Therefore, try to keep hibiscus in conditions not too unsaturated with moisture: regularly spray their foliage, pour water from the shower.
The drying out of the earthen coma immediately leads to the fact that the leaves of the hibiscus hang like rags. Often hibiscus in the photo can be seen in this form. To prevent this from happening, keep the soil moist.
To form a beautiful crown, branching and increase the likelihood of flowering, hibiscus must be pruned.
