Wisteria abundantly flowering
The homeland of wisteria is Japan. The genus of this plant has only 9 species. Wisteria or wisteria are large deciduous vines that are beautiful, abundant and long flowering.
Since the plant belongs to the legume family, its fruits are flat, elongated beans.
Abundant wisteria with elegantly drooping branches reaches a height of about ten meters. The leaves of this type of wisteria are rather large, their length is about 40 centimeters. The flowers are purple or violet-blue in color and are collected in a thin long brush (about 25 centimeters).
Compared to Chinese wisteria, this species can withstand frosts down to -22 degrees.
In our area, abundant wisteria is grown in the Caucasus and Crimea and is considered an ornamental plant. Wisteria is of particular importance in vertical gardening due to the abundance of unusual bright green leaves, emphasizing chic inflorescences and spectacular fruits.
Abundant wisteria is propagated by seeds, which are recommended to be stored in dry paper bags in a room without heating. The seeds of wisteria are richly flowering have unique properties of preservation over time. Subject to the storage conditions, the seeds remain viable for five to six years.
Seeds are usually sown in fall or spring in a nursery. It is recommended to use deciduous compost as a soil. To increase the germination of seeds of wisteria richly flowering, the method of scarification is used, that is, the incision of the seed coat.
The photo does not show all the beauty of this plant, but I saw it in my life - a really worthwhile plant. Will look charming in your own garden.
