Indoor maple abutilone
The indoor maple abutilon is a beautiful flowering plant that is in no way associated with real maple. This houseplant belongs to the Malvaceae family.
In our area, abutilone emerged from the subtropical and tropical climates of Australia, Africa, America and Asia. That is why the plant is very fond of warmth and bright light. Despite this, the cultivation of indoor abutilon maple is not difficult.
One of the advantages of abutilon is its long flowering time. With sufficient light, beautiful flowers can delight you throughout the year. If all the necessary growing conditions are not met, then the indoor maple abutilon will bloom anyway, but the flowering will not be year-round. Flowering usually lasts from April to November.
Growing abutilon does not require any special conditions. Good lighting is sufficient to maintain flowering, as well as loose, fertile soil, which inhibits leaves from flying around. Therefore, the best place to grow indoor maple is a glazed balcony.
In winter, abutilone can grow at low temperatures of about 15 degrees. It is recommended to reduce watering during this period. At higher temperatures, water as normal.
By spring, abutilone must be cut by shortening the trunk and shoots by about half. Watering in the spring should be abundant. At the same time, it is recommended to apply complex fertilizer to the soil. In the fall, caring for abutilon is similar to the spring period. And in summer, it is better to expose the plant to fresh air, providing it with regular watering.
Abutilone grew at my work - we could not get enough of it - how beautiful it always bloomed! But then, for some reason, he disappeared, dried up and that's it.
