Indoor bamboo care
A rare house does without indoor plants. Greenery always refreshes, makes the atmosphere more harmonious and comfortable. From thousands of flowering and decorative leaf vases, everyone chooses to their liking. Someone like to carefully care for fragile annuals, others love unpretentious cacti. Although they come from hot regions, they have already become familiar on our windowsills and near computers. And bamboo in the house is pure exotic. Do you have a lot of friends who grow this interesting plant?
Indoor bamboo is a distant relative of the true tree species. Apart from some external characteristics, they have little in common. I can please those who want to shelter this bright green straw-shaped twig with sprouts - bamboo does not require special attention to itself and it is not difficult to grow it.
The main care for indoor bamboo is constant watering. The lack of moisture is detrimental to the plant. You can even grow it without soil, just in water, adding pebbles or colored stones for decorative purposes. But you still have to feed it with mineral fertilizers. Where can he get food for growth and development. And change the water so that it does not stagnate. Tap water is not good for watering bamboo (and not very good for other plants either). To make it softer, more like rain, it should first be frozen in the refrigerator, and then kept at room temperature.
It is better to grow bamboo in partial shade, at temperatures between 17 and 35 with a + sign. If it begins to turn yellow, you should immediately remove the "diseased" leaves and stem sections.
In fact, indoor bamboo does not exist in nature. This is just an exotic variety of dracaena.
