Nigella Damascus

Many drugs and treatments are not complete without medicinal plants. Nigella Damascus is a plant that I use to treat several diseases. True, the plant is not taken directly in its pure form. Pharmacists processed it and got a tablet called Nigedaza.

The homeland of this plant is the Mediterranean, and at the moment it is grown in Asia Minor and India. For the preparation of the drug, the damask nigella is specially grown. This process is handled by special flower farms.

Nigella is an annual plant that reaches 50 cm. Its stem is erect, leaves are double-triple-pinnate, leaflets up to 1.5 cm long. The seeds of this plant are triangular, transversely wrinkled.

It is not surprising, but for pharmacology it is the seeds of nigella that are used, and not the stem or leaves. For the preparation of the drug Nigedaza, the lipase enzyme is used, which is isolated from the seeds. In addition, the seeds contain 35% oil, 0.3% damascene alkaloid, vitamin E and a little essential oil.

The drug, made from damask nigella, is used to treat chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastritis, achilia, cholecystitis and hepatitis. It is also used for chronic pancreatitis. In rare cases, nigedazu is used to reduce the lipolytic activity of duodenal juice, in the age period.

For the treatment of diseases, take 1-2 tablets 30 minutes before meals. Before taking the drug and starting treatment, it is necessary to be examined by a doctor who will diagnose and prescribe treatment.
