Small-flowered fireweed
Small-flowered fireweed is a plant that grows on the banks of streams, near roads, in forests and log cabins, in garbage cans and dumps, near fences and vegetable gardens, as well as in gardens, lawns, etc. It reaches a height of up to 1 meter. Its most prevalence is in European countries, in the Caucasus, in countries such as Iran, India, the Himalayas, in part of Russia.
This type of plant is especially appreciated in medicine, as it is used to treat prostatitis. By treatment with small-flowered fireweed, prostatitis can be cured at any time and degree of the disease. You can recognize the small-flowered fireweed by its small flowers, which bloom in July and bloom all summer. It is a perennial plant that loves moisture.
Its flowers are small, pale pink, which are attached to the stem by a thin, straight pedicel. Small-flowered fireweed also has fruits, in the form of rather long capsules, in which heart-shaped seeds are formed. There are many of these seeds in the box.
It is the grass that is considered useful, that is, the ground part, without a root. It is necessary to harvest small-flowered fireweed at the beginning of flowering. At this time, its medicinal ability is at its highest.
The herb is dried in a dry place with good ventilation.
Growing small-flowered fireweed at home for medicines is possible, but for this it is necessary to provide the plant with a moist place. Almost no one is engaged in this, since the plant is quite common in our area.
Traditional medicine confirms its healing properties against prostatitis.
